Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Production Planning: Developing and maintaining production plans and schedules to meet production targets. Analyze production data to identify areas of improvement & efficiency. Implement & maintain production planning system & tools.
∎ Inventory Control: Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock replenishment, and ensuring the availability of materials needed for production.
∎ Capacity Planning: Analyzing and fulfilling capacity and resource requirements for production.
∎ Material Requirements Planning: Forecasting materials needed for procurement and ensuring their timely availability.
∎ Scheduling: Creating and handling orders, and scheduling production batches.
∎ Coordination: Coordinating with various departments (e.g., Production, IE, Merchandising, Store) to optimize workflow and solve problems.
∎ Problem Solving: Investigating production problems and working with other departments to find solutions.
∎ Reporting: Preparing reports on production performance, inventory levels, production schedules, and other relevant data. Participate cross-functional meeting to discuss production planning and scheduling.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
∎ Supplier Management: Monitoring raw material availability and ensuring timely deliveries.
∎ Supply Chain Management: Ensuring the efficient movement of goods from supplier.
∎ Quality Control: Monitoring quality of materials and finished products.
