Job Context:
∎ One of the leading Multinational Shipping Company is looking for a Port Operation officer in Chattogram, Bangladesh.
∎ Paid Leaves: as per Company Policy.
∎ Probation Period: as per Company Policy.
∎ We also arrange various trainings every year for employees to increase their Shipping knowledge which are organized by our Principal office.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Attend daily berthing meeting at port.
∎ Follow up vessel operation activity at port.
∎ Prepare vessel load plan in coordination with terminal operator as per guideline from central planner and vessel chief officer.
∎ Prepare vessel schedule and line up report.
∎ Update vessel in port panel after arrival at CGP anchorage.
∎ Prepare Discharging/ Loading EDI and submit to terminal.
∎ Update CTMS record and & VGM report to port.
∎ Keep coordination with terminal, berth operator, off-docks, and port authority for smooth handling of vessel.
∎ Communication with vessels, pilots for smooth berthing and sailing of vessels.
Additional Requirements:
∎ General Skill: In-depth understanding and hands on knowledge of the ins and outs of vessel operation. Must be fluent in English, Sound MS Office knowledge, Good with using various software, team player.
∎ Specialized experience: Minimum of (03 - 04) years of experience in the same or related field.
Salary:
∎ Depends on experience and decided upon negotiation
