Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and direct the daily activities of the wet processing production team for denim garments, including work assignments, scheduling, performance management, and training.
∎ Develop, implement, and continuously refine standard operating procedures, quality control measures, and safety protocols for all wet processing operations, such as stonewashing, bleaching, enzyme washing, and garment dyeing.
∎ Analyze production data and KPIs, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to optimize output, yield, and resource utilization.
∎ Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product development, quality, and other departments to resolve wet processing-related problems and ensure alignment with product specifications.
∎ Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance wet processing capabilities, productivity, sustainability, and environmental impact.
∎ Forecast resource requirements, including personnel, equipment, chemicals, and supplies, to support wet processing needs and align with production schedules.
∎ Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies related to denim garment manufacturing.
∎ Provide technical training and development for production staff to maintain and upgrade skillsets in modern wet processing techniques.
