Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum graduation in any discipline & Diploma or Certificate Course on Fire & Safety from Fire Service and Civil Defense for a period of 6 months.
∎ Educational qualification may be relaxed for the employees who are retired from Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense.
∎ Training/Trade Course: TrainingTrade Course: Fire Safety Manager Course from Fire Service and Civil Defense, Bangladesh.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Garments Accessories
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish a full functional and effective fire safety management system (Fire Alarm, Fire detection, Fire pump & Fire hydrant system check and maintenance on regular basis).
∎ Prepare all safety standards, reports & documentation regarding fire safety issue including fire evacuation plan and procedure.
∎ To report / communicate with the related persons including Government bodies for fire related issues as and when require instantly avoiding any fire hazards/ incident.
∎ Maintain & ensure safety in all production area and make sure a free & UN-block evacuation for all employees.
∎ Train up firefighting team members on fire safety, protection, fighting and first-aid on demonstration basis to make the mission success.
∎ Monitoring Fire Fighting & Rescue team and to conduct external & internal fire related training.
∎ Ensure security aspects of the company and train securities for safe guard of the organization.
∎ Regular inspection of fire equipment's as per required by Accord Standard
∎ Ensure that all fireman, fire fighters and security personnel are in right order and perform their duties as per requirement.
∎ Conduct fire drill monthly (Day & Night Shift as needed), emergency evacuation drill to aware employees any emergency incident.
∎ Ensure the total Fire safety of the factories and any other work assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have vast & practical knowledge on installation and maintenance of, PA System Fire Alarm, Smoke Detector, Addressable and Fire Hydrant and Sprinkler System.
∎ Should have knowledge about Bangladesh fire code, Bangladesh building code, safety procedures, Buyer CoC, ACCORD, Alliance & Bangladesh Fire Service, fire & safety procedure & Audit.
∎ Have to be hard working
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented
∎ Retired Officer from Fire Service & Civil Defense or any other Defense Sector will be highly preferred.
