Job Responsibilities:
∎ To optimization of finishing process to reduce process loss.
∎ Should have knowledge in different types of dyes & chemical.
∎ To oversee dyeing machines and equipment to ensure the effective and efficient dyeing of elastic materials.
∎ Preparing dye baths by accurately measuring and mixing dyes and chemicals according to established recipes and color specifications.
∎ To follow up load elastic materials into dyeing machines, ensuring proper arrangement and load capacity. Unload materials after dyeing is complete.
∎ Working closely with the color lab or color specialist to achieve precise color matching, ensuring the final product meets customer requirements.
∎ To conduct regular quality checks during the dyeing process, identifying any deviations from color standards or defects and taking corrective actions.
∎ Performing sample tests to verify dye penetration and color accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
∎ To carry out routine maintenance tasks on dyeing machines, including cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs. Report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
∎ Monitoring and manage inventory of dyes, chemicals, and other consumables, ensuring an adequate supply is maintained.
∎ Maintaining accurate and organized records of dyeing processes, including dye recipes, production logs, and quality control data.
∎ To collaborate with colleagues in the Elastic department, such as quality assurance, production, and maintenance teams, to meet production targets and quality standards.
∎ Providing training to junior dyeing operators and assistants to enhance their skills and knowledge in dyeing processes.
∎ To identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements within the dyeing operation.
∎ To prepare regular reports on dyeing process performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate findings to departmental management.
∎ Liaising with customers or relevant stakeholders to address color and quality-related inquiries or concerns.
∎ Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards governing dyeing processes, chemical usage, and environmental requirements.
∎ To monitor and control costs associated with the dyeing process, seeking ways to minimize expenses without compromising quality.
∎ Implementing strategies for the responsible disposal and management of waste generated during the dyeing process.
∎ Conducting sample tests and trials for new dye formulations or processes and provide feedback to improve final results.
∎ Have to perform other duties and responsibilities as when assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in nylon base elastic dyeing, nylon yarn dyeing, and finishing processes.
