Education:
    • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Supply Chain Management
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

Skills Required: Negotiation Skills,Suppliers and Vendor Management

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software (Tally experience preferred).

Responsibilities & Context:

1. Procurement and Sourcing:

  • Identify and select reliable suppliers for spare parts, goods, and services based on requisitions.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contract conditions to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to support timely and quality deliveries.

2. Purchase Order and Inventory Management:

  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately in ERP/Tally systems.

  • Monitor and maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for efficient receipt and storage of goods.

3. Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate with logistics vendors to ensure timely inbound delivery of materials.

  • Manage storage requirements and conditions for spare parts in line with operational needs.

4. Vendor Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain vendor ledgers and assist in resolving disputes collaboratively with line managers and concerned departments.

  • Prepare and submit monthly aging reports and payment requisitions for vendor payments.

  • Support vendor evaluation and contract follow-ups as required.

5. Use of Technology and Data Management:

  • Utilize ERP and accounting systems (such as Tally) for accurate record-keeping, tracking, and reporting.

  • Assist in data collection and analysis to support supply chain performance improvements.
