Responsibilities & Context:
To receive cash, checks and credit card payments from Service and Parts customers and records the amount received.
To verify accuracy of the customer`s bill using the dealership`s computer system and closed paid tickets.
To record money received on daily settlement sheets and verifies against cash-on-hand.
To prepare daily bank deposits.
To calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales
To maintain monthly, weekly and daily report of transactions
To pay company bills by cash, vouchers, or cheques.
To answer customers` questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
To count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
To enhance the reputation of the organization at every opportunity when interacting with others.
