Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Management Trainee Officer – Costing to join our Accounts & Finance team. The position is suitable for fresh graduates who are interested in costing, cost analysis, management accounting and financial data analysis within the garments/manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and analyzing product costing, pre-costing and post-costing for garments/products.
Collect, verify and analyze cost-related data including fabric, trims, CM, washing, printing, embroidery, accessories, factory overhead and other direct/indirect costs.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, IE, Commercial, Procurement and Accounts & Finance teams to collect accurate costing information.
Maintain and regularly update costing databases, reports and records.
Assist in preparing management reports and presentations related to costing, budgeting and business performance.
Maintain records of garment raw materials and other production-related costs in the database.
Support cost analysis, variance analysis and other financial/analytical assignments.
Perform any other costing and analytical responsibilities assigned by management.
