• Bachelor/Honors

• BSc in Textile Engineering / Apparel Engineering / Fashion Designing from well reputed public/private universities.

• Age At least 25 years

• Knowledge of fabric behavior, shrinkage & wash effect

• Understanding of grading rules & size set development

• Ability to interpret buyer specifications accurately

• Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams

• Pattern making for Knit garments

• Sample development & prototype preparation

• Technical specification (Tech Pack) creation

• Garment fitting analysis & adjustments

• Fabric layout, marker planning & efficiency optimization

• Measurement & size grading

• Collaboration with design, production & QA teams

• Proficient in CAD pattern making software (e.g., Gerber, Optitex)

• Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Develop patterns (manual & CAD) as per buyer tech pack.

• Prepare patterns for development, fit & production samples.

• Perform grading and revise patterns based on fit comments.

• Ensure pattern accuracy considering fabric, shrinkage & wash.

• Coordinate with sample team for correct execution.

• Maintain pattern records and documentation.

• Provide consumption data for costing.

• Improve marker efficiency and reduce fabric wastage.

• Support PPM and resolve fitting issues.

• Assist production in troubleshooting pattern-related problems.

• Ensure compliance with buyer measurements & specifications.

• Perform any task assigned by management.
