Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Engineering Industry Owners` Association (BEIOA) is the apex trade body for the development of the Light Engineering Sector (LES) of the country. Established in 1984, BEIOA is engaged to continual improvement of the LES through skills enhancement, policy advocacy, assist legislation and also assisting to introducing new technologies. Since 2015, BEIOA has been receiving grants from the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP), Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh for imparting skills development training through its project implementation unit (PIU) across the country particularly in major light engineering clusters. The objective of the training program is to create a pool of skilled work force to improve the performance and products of the industries and workshops that to contribute to the development in the light engineering sector and the country as well.
∎ Report to: Coordinator- Job placement, Database & Procurement.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and maintain dynamic linkages with the Human Resource Department of the industries and identify job vacancies in industry and preparing trainees for interviews & placement.
∎ Ensure proper trainee selection as per guideline of Business Plan (BP).
∎ Conduct career development counseling classes and arrange job fair
∎ Conduct regular visits of the potential industries for identifying job demands and requirements of the skilled graduates
∎ Prepare job requirement list of enterprises through job hunting.
∎ Ensure job placement of certified graduates as per targets in the BP;
∎ Ensure retention in jobs of the employed graduates for at least three months;
∎ Support data entry operator for timely entry of the batch-wise data related to trainee assessment, certification and job placement into TMS and keeping databases up to date;
∎ Prepare necessary report as per management requirements;
∎ Support managing database security/integrity and backup procedures;
∎ Provide necessary support to Chief Coordinator and Coordinators through supplying necessary raw and process data;
∎ Prepare job placement documents as per project requirement;
∎ Conduct monitoring visits of the Partner Training Institute (PTIs) and workplaces of the employed graduates
∎ Perform any other task required by the Chief Coordinator and Coordinator- job placement and database & Procurement;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ In-depth skills and work experience on job placement support program and database management.
∎ At least 30 years and not more than 40 years as on the date of joining
∎ Preference will be given to candidates having relevant background and experience of working in Government Projects and job placement support and database management of skilled graduates
∎ IT proficiency - must be good in MS Office package, (Excel, Word and Power Point).
