Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 6S, and production planning will be preferred.
Responsibilities & Context: Fakir Apparels Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Dyeing IE Executive to join our Dyeing Department. The role is responsible for monitoring daily operations, analyzing efficiency, and ensuring continuous improvement in processes through industrial engineering practices. This position requires strong coordination with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain daily dyeing efficiency reports.
- Analyze daily Non-Productive Time (NPT) and record realistic causes for corrective action.
- Conduct skill assessments for dyeing and finishing operators during recruitment and evaluation.
- Monitor and follow up on all dyeing process parameters to ensure compliance and output quality.
- Collaborate with Dyeing, Finishing, Knitting, Lab, and other production units to ensure smooth workflow.
- Update and present the daily dashboard; arrange and participate in production meetings.
- Implement GEMBA walk practices to identify and eliminate inefficiencies at the operational level.
- Update and track daily load-unload activities.
- Conduct SMV (Standard Minute Value) analysis for various dyeing processes to enhance productivity.
- Identify employee training needs and support the HR/training team in execution.
- Promote and strengthen the practice of 6S (Sort, Straighten, Sweep, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) within the dyeing department.
