Responsibilities & Context:
100% Export Oriented Knit Garments Factory with 42 lines looking for DGM-[IE& Planning], who are capable of successfully setting up & running IE & Planning Dept. If you are up to the challenge & have the capability & technical skills required, we would like to meet you with.
*Prepare annual, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on order commitments and management priorities.
*Ensure effective production scheduling for Spinning and Yarn Dyeing sections.
*Monitor production progress and adjust plans according to urgent shipment, machine breakdown, or material shortage.
*Coordinate with Commercial, Store, Maintenance, QA, HR, and Production departments.
*Ensure shipment and internal delivery targets are achieved on time.
*Prepare machine capacity plans, manpower budgets, and shift plans.
*Maximize machine utilization and reduce idle time.
*Ensure availability of raw materials, packing materials, dyes, chemicals, and accessories as per production plan.
*Coordinating with Marketing/Merchandising department to ensure that all activities prior to PCD are met.
*Lead time study, motion study, process mapping, and method improvement activities.
*Improve productivity, labor efficiency, machine efficiency, and workflow balance.
*Analyze production losses, downtime, bottlenecks, and wastage.
*Implement Lean Manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives.
*Prepare Daily Production Report, Efficiency Report, Capacity Report, and MIS.
*Submit Plan vs Actual analysis to management.
*Ensure adherence to Time & Action (T&A) calendar.
*Align cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing plans.
*Present improvement proposals and corrective action plans.
*Implement ERP systems for planning accuracy.
*Standardize planning processes and SOPs.
*Ensure data accuracy across systems.
*Ensure balanced loading across factories.
*Overseeing production processes Manage operation within agreed KPI.
*Any other tasks assigned by Management.
