Educational Requirements:
∎ M. Sc/B.Sc in Environmental Science from any reputed University.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Ecube Chemical Management
∎ Skills Required: MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ OneNote
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Compliance, Environmental Compliance, Environmental Science, Health and Safety, Labor Law
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Garments Accessories, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain environmental, chemical health & safety issues in the factory;
∎ Follow up environmental, employee health and safety, rights/benefits issues in the factory as per local law and requirement;
∎ Keep factory ready for any environmental, chemical & organic certification audit (ex: HIGG FEM, GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS, SVCOC, Oeko-Tex 100 Audit etc);
∎ Set environmental related KPI & act accordingly;
∎ Co-ordinate environmental/technical audits in the factory;
∎ Monitor, implement and update the activities of different projects & other environmental issues of factory;
∎ Prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) within the timeline and submit to concerned as per their requirement;
∎ Coordinate with Corporate Compliance Team regarding any compliance, HR & Admin related task;
∎ Maintain & Follow up licenses and certificates along with necessary legal documents; Follow up chemical management system as per requirement;
∎ Conduct awareness program among the employees and workers regarding environmental,health and safety issues;
∎ Perform Internal Audit once in a month;
∎ Monitor daily floor compliance and report to concern;
∎ Monitor all compliance-related maintenance on the production floor and other departments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The incumbent should have at least 2 years work experience in Environmental Management System with large Garments Industry.
∎ Fair knowledge on Accord & Alliance Standard and Environment;
∎ Certifications on ,GOTS,GRS,OCS,RCS,SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP & C-TPAT, Oeko-tex 100.
∎ Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
