Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, Diploma in Engineering in Environment and chemical.
∎ Masters/ M.B.A preferably in HRM/Social Compliance from any Public/ Reputed Private University with sound knowledge in Bangladesh Labor Law
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Compliance, Environmental Compliance, Factory Compliance, Health Safety and Environment
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Group of Companies, Sweater Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have to perform Higg FEM.3, BVE3, C&A ZDHC properly.
∎ Update environmental clearance of the factory & ensure all parameters based on it.
∎ Identification of significant environmental aspects & impacts.
∎ Ensuring all environmental requirements as per international standards for a sustainable EMS.
∎ Setting objectives and targets for continual environmental performance improvement.
∎ Periodically assess air emissions, noise level and other environmental aspects.
∎ Regular monitoring of water consumption in the factory premises.
∎ Execute & ensure the smooth operational system/process for ETP plant.
∎ Monitoring and supervise all process control parameters such as BOD, COD,DO,TSS,TDS,Ph etc. of chemical and bio-chemical ETP.
∎ Prepare Factory Corrective Action Plan and its Implementation as per buyers requirement following local and international related laws .
∎ Regular Communication and keep relationship Related Buyers/organization like H&M, C&A, OEKO-TEX, GOTS. OCS etc.
∎ Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments for Fire, EMS and OHSAS etc.
∎ Prepare Policies and Documentation for EMS, EMP, CMP and Energy efficiency.
∎ Ensure healthy workplace maintaining efficient operation of safety, hygiene and environment.
∎ Act as an effective communication liaison between workers and management and bring grievances of workers to the notice of management.
∎ Encourage and motivate workers for better performance and make them understand about importance of factory's rules and regulations, buyer's COC & Country Law.
∎ Prepare & update of all compliance related documents/registers as per buyer's requirement.
∎ Prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against audit reports.
∎ To face audit like WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, C-TPAT for different kinds of buyers .
∎ To assist in preparing / updating policies for compliance .
∎ To maintain and make renewal of all necessary license/certificates/permits .
∎ To arrange all kinds of meeting (Compliance Issue), make up to date the registers .
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 29 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Responsible to make and implement Compliance polices as per law and different buyers code of conducts.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, Communication and motivation skills.
∎ Must have good proficiency in both written and spoken English.
∎ Must know the computer office package.
∎ Must be confident, self motivated, enthusiastic and has the willingness to work in a team.
