Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 2 years

• Basic knowledge on workshop activities  
• Basic Knowledge on Roll shop
• Safety at workplace

• Ensure adherence to schedule of machining and fabrication of equipment.
• Ensure to minimize Roll shop breakdown.
• Ensure minimize costing of spares in Roll shop.
• Ensure proper Planning and Procurement of Spares by making PR (purchase requisition) timely.
• Manage and organize CNC roll turning, notching, milling, Universal, wire cut, general lathe machine, Surface grinder, Shaper, Drill machine etc. & maintaining all equipment related to roll shop.
• Ensure Planning / Scheduling of roll grooving / roll dressing as per rolling/production plan.
• Ensure stand assembly and guide assembly as required for production.
• Ensure proper servicing of roll stand cartridges, bearing load zone changing and roller guides for smooth mills operation.
• Monitor and Ensure adherence of safety guidelines and procedures at Workplace.
• Ensure to reduce Mill rolls consumption and minimizing Rolls inventory.
• Coordinate with the Department sub-vertical to resolve issues.
