• Ability to correlate non conformances and take corrective and preventive actions based on feedback from customers.
• Ability to review test results and methods.
• Ability to prioritize and escalate/raise red flags based on non-compliant observations to appropriate levels.
• Ability to troubleshoot the machine and equipment used for testing and analysis.

• To perform all physical and mechanical tests in testing lab for ensuring all quality parameters as per standard.
• To monitor all quality related activities to ensure quality product as per relevant standard and issue Mill Test Certificate (MTC) in a relevant shift.
• To keep record of all quality related tests and non-conforming.
• To co-ordinate with SMS and Rolling Mill production personnel to ensure product quality.
• To inform superiors if any deviation related to product quality and testing facilities.
• To follow standard operating procedure (SOP) strictly for quality related activities.
• To prepare SQC for all the product size and grade as per requirements.
• To handle Metallurgical microscope regarding several tests for metallographic properties.
• To ensure accurate operation in SAP system. 
• To ensure safe, sound and helpful working environment through team work.
