Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in EEE
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
  • B.Sc. in Electrical (EEE) or Mechanical (ME) Engineering from reputed University. IEB membership is mandatory. Relevant Training from quality Institutions (e.g. CERT, ESCB, BKTTC, CVT, MEIA) will be given preference.

  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (MEP), Revit, MS Excel and MS Project. Solid understanding of BNBC, NFPA, and ACCORD/RSC safety standards.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in MEP project management, preferably in high-rise buildings, garments/textile factories, or corporate fit-outs.
  • Attributes: Strong leadership, ability to troubleshoot complex system failures, and excellent vendor management skills.

FUNCTION: Engineering & Projects

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The role requires a versatile engineer with dual expertise in Electrical and Mechanical systems to lead MEP project lifecycles. The incumbent will ensure the seamless integration of HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, and Electrical Power systems, maintaining high standards of safety, energy efficiency, and operational excellence as per Eclectic Group’s standards. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all MEP works are executed with precision, safety, and cost-efficiency while maintaining alignment with the organization's strategic goals, compliance and reporting authorities. Moreover, the role is also bound to abide by the overall instructions of the reporting personnel.

People: No. of Direct Reports - 1, No. of Indirect Reports - 7

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Design Coordination: Review and synchronize Electrical (Substation, BBT, Lighting) and Mechanical (HVAC, Fire Suppression, WTP/STP) layouts to prevent on-site service clashes.
  • HVAC & Firefighting: Oversee the installation and commissioning of Central AC systems (VRF/Chillers) and Fire Detection/Protection systems as per NFPA and BNBC codes.
  • Electrical Systems: Manage the installation of Transformers, HT/LT Panels, PFI plants, and Generators, ensuring proper earthing and lightning protection. Total Electrical, Electro-Mechanical and Communication Systems installation.
  • Procurement & BoQ: Prepare and verify BoQs for MEP equipment; perform technical evaluations of vendor quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Project Supervision: Monitor site progress to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Lead the final testing of all electro-mechanical systems and ensure "As-Built" drawings and O&M manuals are prepared for handover.
