Additional Requirements:
  1. Relevant experience in power generation and sub-station management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

  2. Professional certification in Electrical Engineering will be treated as an additional qualification.

  3. Strong technical skills in electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.

  4. Proficiency in using relevant software for data analysis and reporting.

  5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  8. Commitment to safety standards and protocols.

  9. Experience with glass manufacturing processes and related power requirements.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead a team of Assistant Engineers for Diesel & Gas power generation & sub-station operation.

  • Assist section head in Diesel & Gas generator operations.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Diesel & Gas power generation sub-station.

  • Monitor and maintain power generation equipment, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

  • Respond promptly to power-related issues and troubleshoot technical faults.

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.

  • Collaborate with relevant authorities to maintain adherence to legal requirements.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand power needs.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to subordinates.

  • Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and incidents.

  • Generate regular reports on power consumption, equipment efficiency, and downtime analysis.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
