• Strong knowledge of BNBC, IEC, BSTI, and electrical safety standards.

• Excellent knowledge of high-rise building electrical systems.

• Experience in HT/LT distribution systems and substation management.

• Knowledge of Fire Detection & Protection Systems.

• Experience with generators, transformers, lifts, HVAC electrical coordination, and ELV systems.

• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project documentation.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, monitoring, and ensuring the successful execution of all electrical works across residential and commercial projects. The role requires extensive experience in electrical design review, project execution, quality control, contractor management, testing & commissioning, and compliance with BNBC, BSTI, and other relevant standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all electrical works for ongoing residential and commercial construction projects.

• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, BOQ, specifications, and technical submittals before execution.

• Ensure electrical installations comply with BNBC, BSTI, IEC standards, and project specifications.

• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and workmanship of electrical activities.

• Coordinate with Civil, Architectural, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Safety, Lift, and Mechanical teams.

• Supervise installation of HT/LT panels, transformers, generators, substations, ATS, capacitor banks, MDB, SDB, DB, cable trays, and busbar systems.

• Oversee electrical wiring, lighting systems, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercom, and ELV systems.

• Manage testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of electrical systems.

• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure timely project completion.

• Prepare project progress reports, inspection reports, material approvals, and technical documentation.

• Monitor electrical material quality and approve vendor submissions.

• Ensure compliance with project budgets and optimize electrical costs without compromising quality.

• Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination, and project review meetings.

• Assist management with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Support apartment handover by ensuring all electrical systems are fully functional and compliant.
