Experience:
Total 7 years of experience and out of 4 years of experience in plastic or polymer manufacturing industries, preferably in uPVC, cPVC, HDPE pipe, fittings, foam sheet, or injection molding plants.
Strong practical knowledge of extrusion and injection molding machine maintenance.
Sound understanding of PLC, inverter, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial electrical systems.
Experience in preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance planning in large manufacturing plants.
Familiarity with factory utilities management such as generator, compressor, chiller, cooling tower and air systems.
Practical knowledge of TPM, 5S, OEE monitoring and continuous improvement practices.
Experience in maintenance cost control, spare parts inventory management and maintenance budgeting.
Ability to lead a large maintenance team and coordinate with production, quality and management departments.
Job Context:
Fresh Polymer & Paints Ltd. (FPPL) a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is establishing a modern polymer and plastics manufacturing facility at Meghna Economic Zone (MEZ), producing uPVC, cPVC, HDPE pipes & fittings, bathroom fittings, WPC doors, PVC foam sheets, water tanks, paints and other industrial products.
The AGM/DGM – Maintenance will lead the factory maintenance function to ensure maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safe plant operation through effective preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, utilities management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance plans to ensure uninterrupted operation of extrusion, injection molding and auxiliary machines.
Drive equipment reliability initiatives to achieve and sustain minimum 95% uptime, ensuring consistent production performance and reduced unplanned downtime.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, inverter and PLC related faults to restore machine functionality quickly and minimize production loss.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and capacity enhancement projects for machinery and utilities, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
Manage and optimize factory utilities (generators, compressors, chillers, cooling systems) to ensure efficient and uninterrupted process support.
Lead and develop the maintenance engineering team through training, guidance and performance monitoring to improve technical capability and operational efficiency.
Plan and control spare parts inventory and maintenance budget to ensure timely availability of critical components while maintaining cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards to maintain a safe working environment and meet company and statutory requirements.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, 5S and OEE monitoring to increase equipment productivity and operational excellence.
Coordinate with production, quality and management teams regarding maintenance planning and operational issues to align maintenance activities with production targets.
