Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of completed projects is required for application.

Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of building codes, materials, construction methods, and furniture/fixture specifications.

Communication Skills: Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budgets.

Team Leadership: Experience mentoring or leading junior team members preferred.

Creativity & Detail Orientation: Strong aesthetic sense paired with meticulous attention to technical detail.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our growing design department. The ideal candidate will bring strong creative vision combined with technical expertise, capable of independently handling projects from concept through execution — including residential, commercial, and/or hospitality spaces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Development — Lead the conceptualization and development of interior design schemes, including space planning, material selection, color palettes, furniture layouts, and lighting design.

2. Client Interaction — Meet with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback into revised designs.

3. Technical Drawings — Prepare and review detailed working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit.

4. Project Management — Oversee projects from design stage through execution, coordinating with architects, contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained.

5. Material & Vendor Sourcing — Select and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and decor items; negotiate with vendors and suppliers.

6. Budget Management — Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets, ensuring designs stay within approved financial parameters.

7. Site Visits & Quality Control — Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution quality and resolve on-site design challenges.

8. Team Mentorship — Guide and mentor junior designers, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.

9. Trend Research — Stay updated on design trends, materials, and sustainable design practices, incorporating innovative ideas into projects.

10. Documentation — Maintain accurate project documentation, including specifications, timelines, and client communications.
