Meghna Group of Industries, one of the top diversified and largest conglomerates in Bangladesh, is expanding its footprint through four economic zones: Meghna Economic Zone (MEZ), Meghna Industrial Economic Zone (MIEZ), Cumilla Economic Zone (CEZ), Titash Economic Zone (TEZ). In this context of diversification, MGI is starting the creation of various industries in these zones. As part of the civil activities that go hand in hand with these projects, MGI is looking for Drafting Engineer who will be in charge of working on the designs of RCC structures. The incumbent will directly report to the Department Head of the respective Department.
Job Responsibilities
Design the RCC structural plan concerning the foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls with the help of suitable software.
Secure approval drawings and compile approval drawings based on the requirements of local government regulations and construction laws.
Acquire the Comprehensive Information Sheet that the structural consultant/architect or design engineer completes to secure the needed permission for the technical and compliance details.
Ensure that the RCC drawings correspond to the goals and purposes of the certain project by discussing it with project managers, engineers, or architects.
Ensure that all structural drawings in RCC are properly checked and validated to meet quality control standards as well as the project requirements.
Verify and make sure that all RCC drawings have been reviewed including safety features and have complied with safety specifications.
Maintain records of all the RCC drawings, revisions, and all other related papers that are needed in the construction projects.
