• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

• Must have experience in RCC Design of Industrial and Residential buildings.

• Proven skill on STAAD.Pro, ETABS, MIDAS, TEKLA Designer, AutoCAD Civil 2D design/drafting, or any other advanced Civil Engineering Design Software.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

• Should have the ability to handle many projects at a time.

• Strong communication skills with the execution team using modern communication tools.

• Frequent site visit is required to solve the structural problem at sites.

• Candidates with design knowledge of heavy industries like Paper Mills, Sugar Mills, Steel Mills, Cement Factories, and Jetty will get preference.

1. Create structural analysis using updated modern design software for MGI`s Industrial and Residential buildings.
2. Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of structural engineers and designers.
3. Collaborate with other departments (such as architecture, civil engineering, project management and factory management) to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery.
4. Lead and oversee the design and analysis of complex RCC structures, ensuring they meet safety, durability, and performance standards.
5. Develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions while considering load distribution, seismic resistance, and construction methods.
6. Ensure that all designs, drawings, and calculations adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
7. Review and approve quality control processes to maintain accuracy and consistency in design deliverables.
8. Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines, budgets, milestones and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of design phases.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, best practices, and emerging trends in RCC structural design.
10. Apply technical expertise to solve complex design challenges and make informed decisions.
11. Identify potential design risks and develop mitigation strategies.
12. Participate in design reviews to ensure that risks are addressed appropriately.
13. Prepare reports, design documentation, and presentations and submit them to the Project Head and the Management.
