- Strong knowledge in HT/LT systems, PLC, drives, motors, and substation operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
Responsibilities & Context: Purpose
Jamuna Paper Mills Ltd., a concern of the renowned Jamuna Group, is one of the leading industrial units in the country, equipped with modern facilities and committed to innovation and operational excellence. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the Electrical Department of our manufacturing plant in Habiganj.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all electrical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the plant.
- Ensure maximum uptime of electrical systems, machinery, and utility equipment.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to maintain electrical safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and electrical codes.
- Coordinate with mechanical, production, and utility teams for seamless operations.
- Recommend and supervise upgrades, automation, and energy-efficient practices.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, reports, and documentation.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and government bodies when required.
- Working Relationships
- Internal: Head of Engineering, Production Team, Mechanical Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Safety Department.
- External: Electrical equipment suppliers, service contractors, and regulatory authorities.
