Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure proper maintenance and smooth operation of all company vehicles and transport equipment.
Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults and arrange timely repairs.
Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs.
Maintain records of vehicle inspections, repairs, servicing, and compliance documents.
Coordinate with vendors, workshops, and spare parts suppliers for maintenance support.
Ensure all vehicles comply with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
Investigate breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Support procurement activities by evaluating vehicle specifications and technical requirements.
Train drivers and transport staff on proper vehicle operation and maintenance practices.
Ensure availability of spare parts and maintain inventory control.
Prepare maintenance reports, budgets, and performance analysis for management.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and operating costs.
Follow company policies, health & safety regulations, and ISO compliance requirements.
