• Develop creative design concepts aligned with seasonal themes, brand identity, and market demand. Translate abstract ideas into tangible fabric design directions for knitwear and seamless attires collections.

• Conduct extensive market research and analyze global fashion trends, color forecasts, customer preferences, and competitor products to inform design direction and innovation.

• Create detailed sketches and digital illustrations of knit fabric designs, seamless product design, motifs, textures, and repeat patterns using CAD software and hand-drawn techniques.

• Identify and select appropriate yarns, knitting- seam/seamless techniques, finishes, and trims to ensure the desired texture, drape, and performance of the knit fabric.

• Collaborate with product developers, merchandisers, production, and technical teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with product strategy.

• Oversee sample creation by coordinating with in-house or external sampling units. Review and evaluate prototypes, ensuring they meet the desired aesthetics, quality standards, and specifications.

• Prepare comprehensive technical packs and design specifications including measurements, construction details, fabric compositions, knitting gauges, and colorways for production teams.

• Present design concepts, mood boards, and final collections to internal teams or clients through compelling visual displays and storytelling that highlight design intent and innovation.
