Responsibilities & Context:
The proposed position of Deputy Technical Lead - Energy is critical to fulfilling the operation and to expedite the implementation of the project, ensuring timely implementation, accountability, and achievement of the project’s intended outcomes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Project Management team in the execution, planning, and oversight of the project activities.
Develop detailed implementation plans, BoQs, and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives and budget.
Supervise and coordinate installation, commissioning, and testing of solar energy infrastructures in refugee camps.
Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with national and international safety, electrical, and environmental standards.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and lessons learned documentation for internal stakeholders, donors, and partners.
Responsible for the design or coordination of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems for the designated regions.
Conduct computer simulations of the performance of photovoltaic (PV) generation systems or energy production in order to enhance efficacy.
Execute project management responsibilities, including the computation of project quantities, the development of cost estimates and specifications, and the coordination of efforts with external agencies operating in the designated area.
Adhere to project plans, deadlines, and quality standards while coordinating and supervising the execution of Access to Energy project.
Design and implement frameworks for monitoring and evaluation to assess the efficacy and impact of initiatives and projects.
