Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide day to day technical guidance to the SGBV response team in specialized interventions to ensure standards and procedures are followed.
∎ Ensure supervisory role in field level to coordinate all the tasks for efficient outcomes.
∎ Compile and prepare quality monthly and periodic project progress reports, as well as the final report, and feed in other information as required by donors.
∎ Ensure daily quality implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Gender-based violence response projects and interventions.
∎ Ensure updated filing and documentation of SGBV cases in line with GBVIMS tools.
∎ Identify gaps to ensure confidentiality and survivor-centered care.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to handle a large team and efficient in supervision
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Strong mentality to work with displaced people as well as Sexual and Gender Based Violence survivors.
∎ Strong experience from a humanitarian/NGO setting with relevant professional experience in the field of sexual exploitation and abuse, protection, gender-based violence, staff misconduct and discipline, gender mainstreaming and/or humanitarian affairs.
∎ Excellent team management and leadership skills.
∎ Ability to adapt the changes and work in tense situations.
∎ Strong motivation and ability to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders.
∎ Strong communication skills in English
∎ Expert in reporting and computer skills.
