Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in developing and executing detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
∎ Collaborate with the Project Manager to monitor and oversee the implementation of project activities.
∎ Collaborate with procurement team and Senior Finance & Admin officer to ensure proper procurement plan and all the process.
∎ Collaborate with the HR team to ensure Community Volunteer recruitment process.
∎ Lead the capacity strengthening team to develop and implement the capacity strengthening activities and production to support sustainable rural economic growth.
∎ Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule.
∎ Perform risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to minimize project-related risks. Track and evaluate project performance to ensure the successful completion of both short- and long-term goals as per DIP & FLA.
∎ Work closely with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and partner organizations.
∎ Support the coordination and collaboration efforts to ensure successful execution of the project implementation.
∎ Assist in establishing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess project progress and impact.
∎ Contribute to regular assessments and feedback sessions to make data-driven adjustments to project strategies.
∎ Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage the project budget efficiently, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and donor regulations.
∎ Contribute to the preparation of timely financial reports and communication of budgetary needs.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incint takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ The Deputy Project Manager, Capacity Strengthening will provide comprehensive leadership role with management and technical support to ensure the effective implementation of projects within the three Upazila, with a focus on capacity strengthening and production. The role emphasizes fostering continuous coordination and collaboration with the govt. line department and other relevant stakeholders to achieve project objectives and drive sustainable rural economic growth.
