Job Responsibilities
Perform daily inspections, preventive, and corrective maintenance of paper machines, Rewinders, Stock Preparation site, conveyors, compressors, and belt-binding machines to reduce downtime.
Develop new designs, implement system modifications, and enhance existing equipment for improved operational efficiency.
Conduct tests, analyze performance, and validate equipment reliability to ensure operational safety.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Prepare detailed reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation for all repair and maintenance activities.
Identify mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems promptly, and implement effective solutions.
Work closely with engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders to optimize maintenance processes.
Maintain critical spare parts inventory, raise procurement requests, and ensure timely replacement of components to prevent production delays.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensure compliance with environmental and quality standards (ISO, BSTI, etc.)
Ensure accuracy and integrity in day-to-day tasks that will have been assigned by the reporting manager/supervisor based on job scope.
