∎ • Knowledge of the community culture, beliefs, and practice.
∎ • Experience working in Rohingya refugee camps or similar contexts
∎ • Good communication skills especially with team management.
∎ • Have excellent writing, reporting and analytical skills.
∎ • Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and teamwork.
∎ • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are other prerequisites.
∎ • Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ • Demonstrated effective skills in communication, team building, and conflict resolution.
∎ • Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, cultures and religions.
∎ • Ability to work under pressure, and be flexible in challenging situations.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support the design and implementation of monitoring systems to the health facilities through regular health facilities ensuring addressing gaps, raising concerns, and reporting to the management in a timely and accurate manner.
∎ Maintain monitoring tools and checklists composing the health project indicators to assess the effectiveness of the health and nutrition interventions in the Rohingya refugee camps.
∎ Observe any gaps in the supply chain that can affect quality service implementation by checking the medical logistic availability and address them to the supervisor.
∎ Take quality assurance initiatives by assessing the service delivery methods following the regular monitoring of health and nutrition activities, and conducting field visits to assess the quality and accuracy of service delivery.
∎ Work closely and intensively with the staff to ensure they follow health sector standards, national guidelines, humanitarian principles, and maintain well documented registers.
∎ Collaborate with the health and nutrition team to disseminate and evaluate the monitoring outcomes into sustainable quality control solutions.
∎ Document BRAC MEAL findings and address them accordingly to prevent further duplication of similar findings in the programme.
∎ Coordinate the community participatory monitoring and evaluation, reflective practice, and impact measurement through community sessions and exit interviews of the community members.
∎ Review and assess all the financial documents of the health and nutrition programme including all the bills and vouchers of local purchases, and food payments to ensure compliance with the donor and BRAC’s financial policies.
∎ Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to the team summarizing findings, lessons learned, and recommendations.
∎ Ensure transparency and accurate reporting of programme results to meet the donor and organizational requirements.
∎ Contribute to providing inputs for Health report written during project implementation.
∎ Maintain regular and open communication and collaboration with the health facility incharge, community health and MHPSS managers to ensure any major communication gaps that could make an impact on the service quality.
∎ Assist in resolving operational and service-related challenges in communication with all the grade and non-grade staff of the HCMP health and nutrition programme.
∎ Collect and analyze monthly performance indicators, including the generation of reports as well as presentations for staff related to ongoing performance.
∎ Verify Health entered data for completeness, correctness, and consistency and follow up on any data quality issues
∎ Provide regular M&E reports, highlighting key performance trends, challenges, and areas of improvement in health and nutrition services.
∎ Organize periodical ongoing Health level data review, reflective practice, evaluation, and progress monitoring events by involving community people.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ This position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services through regular field visits at the health facilities, community health and MHPSS, continuous monitoring following quality assurance checklists, evaluation of the MEAL and Audit findings and addressing them, ensuring smooth operation of the health facilities by timely addressing the gaps, verifying financial transactions such as bills and vouchers, and supporting the implementation team to improve the service quality.
