Supply Chain, Yarn Procurement
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Spinning, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be conversant with yarn and fabric construction and availability.
∎ Good communication and negotiation skills.
∎ Generate and implement efficient sourcing and procurement management policies.
∎ Must have computer literacy and be proficient with data analysis on Excel and ERP operation.
∎ Source potential suppliers on a regular basis, Evaluating Suppliers' qualification & proposals through comparative study and preparation of Purchase Orders.
∎ Maintain Vendors assessment. Continuously developing a pool of good vendors and building a long-term sustainable relationship with them.
∎ Conduct a market survey on a regular basis.
∎ Develop strong, functional relationships with key suppliers at home and abroad.
∎ Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
∎ Maintain strong communication with spinners to run smooth organizational operations.
∎ Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must be conversant in Computer literacy - MS- Word, Excel, Powerpoint, ERP
∎ Good proficiency in English
