Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join as Deputy Manager/ Manager – Merchandising. This role is based in Adamjee EPZ (Narayanganj), and the candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the merchandising process.
∎ Set and achieve sales targets by collaborating with the sales and marketing teams.
∎ Develop and implement the TNA (Time and Action) execution plan to ensure timely production milestones.
∎ Oversee and manage the sample development process to ensure quality and timely completion.
∎ Optimize the right product mix based on market trends and customer preferences.
∎ Ensure smooth delivery of products by coordinating with suppliers and production teams.
∎ Manage costing processes to maintain profitability and competitiveness in the market.
∎ Monitor and control consumption of materials to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
∎ Provide effective team management, including training and mentoring junior merchandising staff.
∎ Maintain and control trims & accessories stock to prevent shortages or excesses.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the performance of merchandise and make recommendations for improvement.
∎ Prepare regular reports on key merchandising metrics and present findings to senior management.
