Responsibilities & Context:
Organize and lead the overall custom & bond function of the Group as per government compliance.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Customs & Bond officials to facilitate smooth clearance of materials and secure cost savings through effective negotiation.
Ensure high-quality communication with internal customers regarding customs and bond processes, providing regular updates on the status of shipments and compliance requirements.
Ensure updating bond register (in bond & Ex Bond) & yearly import/export customs statement for bond audit on due time.
Oversee the proper utilization of bonded materials and ensure compliance with customs regulations to avoid penalties or delays.
Handle customs related all responsibilities like yearly audit, HS Code formalities, general bond, receive any kind of certificate, NOC.
Communicate directly with customs bond Commissionerate and NBR as necessary to answer queries perfectly and efficiently with updated documents and manage bond customs in any irregularities and difficulties.
