Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure compliance with the SOP for volunteer recruitment and monitor the formation of recruitment committees including the preparation, review, and approval of volunteer requisitions in collaboration with project managers and sector leads
∎ Monitor the entire recruitment process, ensuring that it follows approved plans and that all committee members are compliant with recruitment standards
∎ Oversee the CV screening process, ensuring that all academic certificates and relevant documents (e.g., NID, birth certificates, MoHA Card, FCN Number) are thoroughly verified by the committee
∎ Monitor the decision-making process and interviews are conducted fairly, maintaining a formal assessment process including safeguarding questions
∎ Oversee the background check process for both FDMN and host community candidates, ensuring verification of residency, employment status, and other necessary details
∎ Oversee all the necessary documents are preserved after completing the each recruitment
∎ Prepare, submit and preserve volunteer recruitment report periodically
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
∎ This position is responsible for facilitating the recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of volunteers across various sectors. S/he will work closely with Sector Leads, Project Managers, and HR Officers to ensure compliance with established procedures and policies, including the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for volunteer recruitment. This role ensures that the recruitment process is transparent, efficient, and aligned with programmatic needs.
