Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide strategic guidance to the BRAC Skills Development Programme and others for skills training for facilitating for entrepreneurship development
∎ Maintain liaison with relevant stake holder like BRAC Micro Finance, government agencies like Ministry of Commerce, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Business Promotion Council (BPC),financial institutions, other private sector entities, employers', industries and commercial entities for market access and job options.
∎ Develop mechanism for Identify potential entrepreneurs from BRAC entrepreneurship programme known as STAR and local market, help them build their capabilities by the entrepreneurship approach, in close coordination with the STAR implementation team
∎ Prepare and implement Course Curriculum on entrepreneurship development in collaboration with Material Development Unit
∎ Develop Memorandums of Understanding, proposals in collaboration with Communication Specialist for leveraging donor fund for projects on entrepreneurship development
∎ Organising industry specific seminars and workshop for advocacy on Self Employment and Entrepreneurship development
∎ Prepare relevant reports and budget as required by projects
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of work experience with minimum 3 years' experience with the business sector of Bangladesh or minimum1 year experience in self-employment and entrepreneurship development projects of government and non-government organizations
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Thorough knowledge about the business sector and socio economic context of the country
∎ Sound knowledge on project design, implementation and management
∎ Excellent skills in team building, problem solving and decision making
∎ Demonstrated coordination skill and able to implement programme in a challenging work environment
∎ Excellent communication, coordination and networking skill
∎ Familiar with MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
