Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's in Public Administration / Business Administration / Law / Communications from any recognised university Bangladesh or English-speaking country with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handling correspondence of Chair Emeritus as specified by Director, Chair Emeritus' Office in a timely and appropriate manner
∎ Assisting with planning and organisation of (a) quarterly meetings of BRAC Governing Body and Stichting BRAC International Supervisory Board (b) biannual meetings of BRAC International Holdings B.V. Supervisory Board and (c) Annual General Meeting of BRAC General Body; attending all meetings
∎ Corresponding with the members of BRAC Governing Body, BRAC International Supervisory Boards and BRAC General Body on sundry issues as instructed by Director, Chair Emeritus' Office
∎ Assisting with planning and organisation of monthly meetings of BRAC Executive Management Committee (EMC); attending all meetings; preparing draft meeting minutes, as instructed by Director, Chair Emeritus' Office
∎ Contributing to systematic recording of Corporate Office expenditure and preparing monthly expenditure statements
∎ Assisting with monitoring of Corporate Office expenditure through monthly review of Corporate Office detailed general ledger to identify any questionable entries
∎ Supporting efficient running of Corporate Office, including assistance with annual budget preparation and annual internal audit
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2-3 years' experience of working in governance / administration / event management in development or private sector
∎ Knowledge on Bangladesh/ international development context, governance structures and processes, financial control systems, budgeting
∎ Knowledge on logistics, event management, drafting meeting Minutes
∎ Sound knowledge on MS Excel, Google Suite
∎ Must be fluent in English and Bangla speaking
∎ Must have excellent English writing skill
∎ Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
∎ Sound problem solving and analytical skills
∎ Ability to think and execute tasks strategically
∎ Adaptive, ability to multitask, work independently and under pressure
∎ Should be professional, efficient and should have a desire to learn
