Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or MBA from any reputed University;
∎ B. Sc in Industrial Engineering & Production (IPE) from SUST/KUET/RUET/BUET will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 14 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
RMG Division
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and develop standard policies and procedures for IE functions involved with all concerns of Garment Units;
∎ Plan and direct activities such as coordinating with other department heads as required;
∎ Design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to point up maximum efficiency using IE method/tools;
∎ Identify & eliminate bottlenecks that delay production associated schedules to meet the ultimate standard and initiate simplification in the overall production process;
∎ Ensure Proper line balancing & confirm daily line-wise production target by utilizing proper Method & Time Study;
∎ Discuss layout with all related HODs for any changes foreseen and finalize for every operation based on skill matrix;
∎ Provide correct skill set to perform the demands of business and customer;
∎ Set up every day's standard input ratio & create sensitivity to workers about new methods systematically in respect of garment manufacturing;
∎ Order status monitoring & regularly scheduled meeting with merchandising, marketing & Production people to achieve production target as per order planning;
∎ Review daily MIS report, line plan, manpower and efficiency on daily basis to ensure efficiency is achieved;
∎ Ensure accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability;
∎ Always be updated on production status whether it is meeting the production plan or not, if not then make a route cause analysis and give a quick solution for a smooth operation;
∎ Close relationship with operational teams to ensure on-time delivery of products & optimal utilization of equipment;
∎ Building relationship with merchandising and production department for smooth function;
∎ Provide regular updates and technical guidance and training to team members on progress, priorities and challenges – verbally and in writing;
∎ Bring a sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and initiate necessary measures;
∎ Prepare reports and other documentation required to support the quality function;
∎ Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the Management;
∎ Any other task provided by the top management.

∎ Demonstrated analytical, motivational, communication, project conceptualization and planning skills.
∎ Experience in overseeing implementation, tracking the progress, reporting against the agreed indicators
∎ Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable and flexible environment;
∎ Demonstrated experience of working closely with support functions like finance and logistics, procurement planning.
∎ Independent, positive, can-do attitude and result oriented;
∎ Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and all other levels in the factory;
∎ Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team;
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
∎ Well conversant in MS-Office as well as familiar to use ERP like Oracle;
