Responsibilities & Context:
Assist the General Manager in planning, executing, and supervising construction projects.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, and resource utilization.
Supervise Project Managers, Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and contractors.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, BNBC 2020, and statutory regulations.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, procurement, finance, and other stakeholders.
Review BOQs, estimates, material requisitions, and project budgets.
Monitor project costs, contractor performance, and work progress.
Ensure implementation of QA/QC and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.
Conduct regular project site inspections and resolve technical issues.
Verify contractor running bills, work measurements, and project documentation.
Prepare project progress reports, KPI reports, and management presentations.
Support project handover, testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
Coordinate with procurement for vendor selection and material approval.
Lead emergency response and crisis management related to construction activities.
Support business development by providing technical input during project planning and feasibility studies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual construction performance reports.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Director or Management.
