Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from BUET, CUET, KUET, or RUET, with IEB membership.
Candidates holding Project Management Professional (PMP)® or PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP) ™ certification will be given preference.
A minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in the real estate industry is required.
At least 7 years of experience serving as a Project Manager on as-cast concrete surface commercial building projects within a reputable real estate organization will be considered a strong advantage.
Demonstrated, hands-on experience in construction site leadership, including execution and supervision of deep excavation works, shore protection works (4–5 Basements) and the delivery of high-rise commercial and residential buildings (20+ Floors).
Comprehensive understanding of the structural stages of high-rise building construction.
Strong technical knowledge of finishing works for large-scale residential condominium developments.
Practical field exposure to the operation and safety management of heavy construction equipment, such as rotary drilling rigs, tower cranes, and construction passenger hoists, will be viewed as an added advantage.
In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including BNBC, ACI, and ASTM.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel for effective planning, tracking, and reporting.
We invite experienced and forward-thinking construction professionals to join our organization to lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple landmark high-rise developments, including major Commercial Buildings with 5B+G+29 Floors and 4B+G+19 Floors featuring as-cast concrete finishes, and B+G+17 Floors Residential Condominium Complex comprising 6 Buildings. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, managing key project parameters such as scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety and risk, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered in line with approved plans, budgets and best practices through strong technical expertise and people-focused leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule project activities, materials, machinery, and manpower to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Supervise and monitor daily construction operations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, materials, and quality standards.
Apply strong managerial and technical expertise for effective project execution.
Implement quality control measures to reduce material wastage and ensure construction excellence.
Enforce safety protocols, building codes, and inspection requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
Manage project budgets and timelines, adjusting plans as needed to achieve objectives.
Review technical construction documents for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with standard practices.
Coordinate with architects, engineers (structural, electrical, plumbing), contractors, and supply chain teams to ensure schedule alignment and work quality.
Oversee activities of the Project-in-Charge (PIC), PE, DPE, and APE in accordance with the site schedule.
Prepare monthly budgets and progress reports; track milestones using "look-ahead" schedules, and participate in review meetings.
Evaluate progress against targets and develop strategies to accelerate completion when necessary.
Optimize labor, material and equipment utilization for maximum project efficiency.
Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all construction phases.
Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring activities.
Clearly communicate organizational policies and procedures to all project team members.
Resolve construction-related conflicts and operational issues effectively and in a timely manner.
Participate in rate negotiation and labor contractor selection process, providing technical insights.
Conduct meetings with contractors and site personnel to address quality concerns and drive improvement initiatives.
Assess contractor performance and recommend suitable vendors to senior management; monitor their performance for future engagement.
Ensure all received materials meet required quality, quantity, and compliance with the approved BOQ.
Build capable teams, identify site-level issues, implement corrective actions, and escalate matters when necessary.
Review and verify various bills, including contractor running bills and petty cash statements.
Perform any additional engineering or managerial duties as assigned by senior leadership.
