Responsibilities & Context:

We are inviting motivated and skilled engineers to support the delivery of high-rise residential and commercial building projects. This role involves assisting in on-site project execution, monitoring quality, safety and schedule adherence and ensuring key milestones are met. The ideal candidates will possess strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in similar projects and the ability to collaborate with and support site teams, enabling smooth project operations and successful outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project In-Charge in preparing daily and weekly work schedules.

  • Supervise assigned construction activities and plan daily tasks in line with the overall project schedule

  • Ensure all construction work complies with approved designs, structural drawings and quality standards.

  • Review designs and drawings, execute work per the master schedule and provide technical feedback.

  • Maintain a detailed daily site log documenting labor, material usage, photographs and work progress.

  • Estimate material requirements based on site requisitions, aligned with project budget, policies and guidelines.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including drawings, materials, schedules, work orders, invoices and permits.

  • Prepare contractor bills and issue instructions to ensure contractors adhere to the work program.

  • Prepare Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), Material Receiving Reports (MRR) and other necessary documentation.

  • Report regularly to the Project Engineer and relevant departments.

  • Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of materials received on-site.

  • Coordinate material testing with designated laboratories.

  • Provide detailed briefings on Tools Box Meeting (TBM) details, conduct safety training, monitor cleaning and curing activities and ensure efficient use of materials.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, variations, testing results and connection points on site.

  • Assist in verifying subcontractor work, measurement sheets, and variations.
