Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Bachelor/ Masters degree from reputed university.
∎ 4 Years B. Sc. Engineering/ 4 Years B. Sc. (Hon's)/ Masters with 3 years B.Sc. (Hon's) in Computer Science & Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Computer Science/ Applied Physics & Electronics from BUET/ Dhaka University/ other leading Local or Foreign Universities
∎ On top of that MBA would be as asset.
∎ PMP would be an asset.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Agile methodology, Android application development, AWS, Business Analyst, Game Development, iOS Application Development, Project Management, Team Leader (Software)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
IT Enabled Service, Software Company
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The (CTO) reports to the COO and is responsible for establishing the company's technical vision, leading all aspects of the company's technology development and the key individual responsible for pursuing and delivering the Product agenda.
∎ He/she will see complexities in the business model and the market as challenges and opportunities for the organization and will have the ability, in conjunction with senior people within the company, to build and implement new strategies necessary to meet the needs of all stakeholders. Prior experience of people management is an essential prerequisite, with an extremely good working knowledge of sports/e-commerce and must have interest in the gaming industry being very important.
∎ Experience:
∎ A minimum of 10 years management experience in a commercial organization with substantial experience in a CTO/Senior management role.
∎ Significant senior management experience within the online gaming industry and/or high velocity online transactional environment.
∎ Management of a fast-paced business of a similar size and experience of working within a corporate structure.
∎ Proven ability to significantly increase efficiencies and continuously deliver positive results to the company.
∎ The CTO will be the Company's spokesperson in all technology-related matter and as such the candidate will be extremely confident in articulating their technology knowledge when dealing with all parties outside the Company.
∎ Ability to nurture the management skills of all managers in the IT Department and ensure skills and career development of all members of the IT Department, through timely and accurate performance reviews.
∎ Establishing a process to identify and develop talent within the IT Department and develop a robust succession plan for the department.
∎ Skills in business analysis, business process design, project management, and e-commerce & gaming strategy.
∎ Have a successful track record of establishing and managing multi-location development operations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Expertise in different J2EE framework like JSF, Struts, Spring etc.;
∎ Good Knowledge of ORM/Hibernate, JasperReports/ BIRT;
∎ Expertise in different web servers like tomcat/ JBoss;
∎ Good knowledge of designing UI using HTML 5, Javascript, jquery,CSS etc.;
∎ Good knowledge in Oracle 10/11g database, ability to write complex queries, good understanding of pl/sql;
∎ Good understanding of Linux and Windows operating system;
∎ Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Visual FoxPro, C#.Net will be added advantage;
∎ Must be a self starter, able to work independently, learning aggressively and solve problems creatively
∎ Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills, able to work in a team environment
