Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop and implement the overall strategy for the courier delivery operations, aligning with the company`s business objectives.

  • Set performance metrics and KPIs to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery operations.

  • Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing team of delivery personnel, including drivers, sorters, and dispatchers.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and training to the team to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Foster a positive and motivated work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages and parcels to customers.

  • Monitor and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.

  • Implement effective quality control measures to prevent errors and damage during transit.

  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of delivery operations.

  • Implement new technologies and processes to streamline operations and reduce costs.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including transportation laws, safety standards, and customs regulations.

  • Implement robust security measures to protect packages and prevent theft or loss.

  • Manage risk by identifying potential hazards and implementing preventive measures.

  • Build strong relationships with customers and prioritize their satisfaction.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

  • Implement customer feedback to improve the overall delivery experience.

  • Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
