Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that the appropriate monitoring indicators and tools are in place in line with donor requirements and BLAST's M&E policy.
∎ Monitor the activities of BALST and undertake field visits as per agreed indicators, tools, legal services documentation guideline and also assess the achievements are in line with the targets.
∎ Review the process of implementation and extract the key learning, identify the challenges and way forward and necessary recommendation for further improvement.
∎ Develop the capacity of staff involving with the M&E, MIS and GIS management system to ensure they play an effective role in its implementation.
∎ S/he is responsible for tailoring M&E information to the needs of different levels of management and operational staff, as well as to the donor.
∎ Develop and implement effective "learning" systems for both beneficiaries and staff enabling them for better performance.
∎ Assist in proper selection of project areas and its beneficiary groups and work on proper mapping, recording and reporting.
∎ Ensure application of the different types of PM&E tools and processes at beneficiaries and institutional level.
∎ Assist to prepare a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual monitoring report to measure the milestone of the annual action plan.
∎ Follow-up the reporting deadlines of the project and ensure the timely report submission to DD-M&E for review and data quality checking as per reporting flowcharts.
∎ Identify and document success stories, best practice and case sties and prepare these reports accordingly.
∎ Assist DD-M&E to prepare ToR for the baseline survey, project review and project evaluation by the third-party consultants.
∎ Assist DD-M&E to review the survey and evaluation tools and reports which are submitted by the third-party consultants.
∎ Work closely with the BLAST's M&E staffs and Legal cell to functioning all M&E tools.
∎ Assist DD-M&E to organise internal and external monitoring findings and learning sharing meetings.
∎ Assist DD-M&E in project development activities such as log frame development, monitoring approaches and strategy development for the new projects, identifying the project outcome and outputs.
∎ Conduct monitoring of the head office events such as training, workshop, seminar, conferences, public hearing, mass gathering events and evaluate the opinion of the participants about the quality, performance and recommendations about the events.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Social Science, Statistics or relevant subject.
∎ At least 4 years' experience in M&E, information management and training.
∎ Practical experience in technical management position in Monitoring and Evaluation, information management and learning.
∎ Good knowledge of software packages, especially statistical packages.
∎ Good analytical skills in channeling data to produce effective information.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Ability to optimize teamwork and developing teams.
∎ Initiating action, collaboration, building partnership, communicating with impact, planning and organizing.
∎ Skill on developing M&E guidelines and tools.
∎ Recommend organizing M&E system for organization's projects.

Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)

∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Benefits: Two festival bonuses equivalent to one month's basic salary for each, will be paid after successful completion of 6 months' probation period.Costs in relation to any field work will be borne by the organization.
