Job Context:
∎ A Leading local conglomerate looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO). The incumbent will be responsible for the overall performance of the Company.
∎ The COO needs to oversee a host of daily operations, including activities related to each of the business`s departments. The COO must accurately and efficiently organize all of these activities and operations to support business strategy and align with clients` or customers` needs.
∎ The COO will work collaboratively to develop systems, processes, controls, and procedures that improve the overall operational efficiency of the organization and ensure excellent client service.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to all operational functions, including but not limited to production, supply chain, logistics, and customer service.
∎ Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the Director and other High Official to develop and execute the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
∎ Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of various departments, implementing performance improvement initiatives as needed.
∎ Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including budgets, personnel, and technology, to achieve operational goals and financial targets.
∎ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Lead process improvement projects and initiatives.
∎ Risk Management: Assess and mitigate operational risks, ensuring the company's operations comply with industry regulations and best practices.
∎ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication between different departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient organizational structure.
∎ Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the organization. Provide leadership and mentorship to direct reports and teams.
∎ Financial Oversight: Work closely with the CFO to manage operational budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
∎ Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
∎ Customer Focus: Ensure a strong customer-centric approach throughout the organization, delivering high-quality products and services that meet customer expectations.
∎ Strategic Partnerships: Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to enhance the company's market position.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Extensive experience in leadership roles, often with at least 15 years of progressive management experience.
∎ Experience in operations management is crucial.
∎ Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills to drive the organization's long-term success.
∎ Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and manage teams effectively.
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with other executives and stakeholders.
∎ A track record of achieving measurable results and driving organizational success.
∎ High ethical standards and integrity in all business dealings.
