  • Good command of English and Bangla; proficient in MS Word & Excel.

Experience & Skills

  • Track record of working in manufacturing environments such as concrete, building materials, or chemical industries.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chemist to oversee laboratory-based Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes in our AAC block production facility. The successful candidate will ensure material consistency, compliance with industry standards, and support R&D improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct chemical analyses of raw materials, mix components, and final AAC blocks.

  • Implement QC tests (e.g. pH, density, strength indicators, XRD, moisture content).

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QC/QA processes.

  • Coordinate QA audits and support continuous improvement.

  • Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (CoA), QC documentation, and lab records.

  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

  • Collaborate with production and R&D teams to optimize formulations.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant national and international standards (e.g. ASTM, ISO).
