Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are looking a dynamic and responsible "Chemist (Equivalent to Manager)” in Solid Dyeing (Lab) Department for our Paramount Textile PLC Factory which is located at Gilarchala, Sreepur, Gazipur. It’s a sister concern of Paramount Group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform tests related to colorfastness, pH levels, shrinkage, and other textile parameters.

  • Analyze chemical compositions to maintain consistent production quality and troubleshoot discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new chemical formulations for fabric treatments, including dyeing, printing, and finishing.

  • Monitor and improve chemical processes in dyeing, finishing, and other production stages to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Ensure all chemicals uses in compliance with local and international environmental and safety regulations.

  • Oversee proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals according to safety guidelines.

  • Work closely with the Quality Control team to develop and implement standard operating procedures for chemical testing and monitoring.

  • Ensure consistency in fabric quality by conducting routine inspections and audits of chemical processes.

  • Maintain detailed records of all chemical tests and processes for internal audits and external compliance checks.

  • Any other tasks assigned by management.
