Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the electroplating and hanger plating processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
∎ Monitor plating bath parameters, including pH, temperature, and chemical concentrations.
∎ Conduct regular maintenance and replenishment of plating solutions.
∎ Ensure proper surface preparation and coating thickness in accordance with specifications.
∎ Perform routine chemical analysis of plating baths (e.g., titration, spectrophotometry).
∎ Conduct adhesion, corrosion resistance, and coating thickness tests.
∎ Identify and rectify plating defects such as pitting, peeling, or discoloration.
∎ Maintain accurate records of test results and plating performance.
∎ Conduct laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses according to standard procedures.
∎ Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
∎ Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testing and research purposes.
∎ Ensure proper documentation of all test results, procedures, and findings.
∎ Implement and monitor safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
∎ Maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure timely procurement.
∎ Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality control standards.
∎ Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary research and operational support.
