Experience:
Cook and serve meals on time according to the daily schedule and menu.
Prepare modern and traditional Bengali dishes, as well as Chinese and Indian cuisines as per the taste preferences of foreign staff/guests.
Plan daily menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and assist in introducing new recipes when needed.
Confirm the number of people to be served and adjust food quantity accordingly.
Ensure food quality, taste, portion control, and proper presentation.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and proper food storage procedures.
Monitor freshness and quality of all food ingredients.
Prepare grocery lists, manage kitchen supplies, and maintain stock according to daily cooking requirements.
Monitor market stock and place orders when necessary; control costs and minimize waste.
Keep the kitchen and dining/canteen area clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Ensure safe kitchen practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work cooperatively with team members and maintain proper workflow.
Perform duties as instructed by the supervisor or management.
