Responsibilities & Context:
Menu Execution & Preparation: Prepare and present high-quality Continental dishes, including steaks, pasta, seafood, pan-seared entrees, soups, and classic European sauces.
Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure smooth service during peak hours, and maintain high standards of food presentation and taste.
Inventory & Food Costing: Manage stock levels, reduce food wastage, and assist in sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Quality Control & Hygiene: Maintain strict standards of kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation protocols (HACCP compliant).
Team Leadership: Train, guide, and mentor line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure consistency across all shifts.
Menu Innovation: Collaborate with management to develop seasonal specials, menu upgrades, and creative plating concepts.
